Honeycombe supports charity event raising over £1,000 for Prostate Cancer Awareness

Honeycombe Design & Build was proud to play a key role in organising a recent charity event that raised more than £1,000 for prostate cancer awareness and local screening initiatives.

The event, held at Woodsome Hall Golf Club, brought together members of the local community, business supporters and rugby enthusiasts for an informative and worthwhile cause. Organised by Jamie Dutton of Honeycombe Design & Build, the evening featured a special guest appearance from Sir Ian McGeechan, the highly respected rugby coach and consultant director of rugby at Doncaster Knights.

During the event, Sir Ian delivered an engaging and thought-provoking talk covering both sport and prostate health, helping to raise awareness of an issue that affects thousands of men across the UK each year. Funds raised from the evening will contribute towards local prostate cancer screening initiatives, helping to support earlier detection and improved outcomes.

At Honeycombe Design & Build, we believe in supporting the communities in which we live and work. We would like to thank everyone involved for helping make the evening both enjoyable and impactful, and we are delighted that together we were able to raise vital funds and awareness for prostate cancer screening.
